Die Euphorie von “On the Dancefloor” hat eine ganz besondere Bedeutung – jetzt, wo die Tanzflächen weltweit wieder voll sind. Der Track zeigt einmal mehr
The Green Man (TGM)‘s spezielles Händchen dafür, mit Crossover-Tracks den Nagel auf den Kopf zu treffen, wie man es selten irgendwo anders hören kann. Dieses Mal fusioniert er westliche Disco-Kultur mit einem afrikanischen Trommelritual in der Mitte und der soulful Vocal-Performance der österreichischen Soul-Sängerin Laura. Dazu liefert das Intro cinematische Vibes im James Bond Stil mit sofortigem Ohrwurmcharakter, was schon Ray Keith in seiner Radio Show gefeiert hat. Dieser Release liefert zusätzlich eine „Long“-Version, die das noch einmal mehr auskostet.

„On the Dancefloor” zeigt als Album-Opener, wo es beim energiegeladenen “25 Years of Basswerk” Album langgeht. Hier arbeitet TGM auch mit vielen anderen Musikern wie Peter Bouncer, Aquasky, Thorsten Quaeschning, Skarra Mucci, David Boomah, Digital, Daddy Freddy, Freeze, Navigator, Jaycut, James Hardway, Gourski, Philo, Kingz, Jonathan Baker, Vavunettha und Anderen zusammen.

Hier picken wir noch ein Highligh aus dem Album heraus: Der Klassiker „Word, Sound, Power“ ist auch als Akustikversion unglaublich schön (Track 20 auf dem Album und zusammen mit einer Extended Version nächste Single am 19.6.)!
Danach wird es weitere Singles, z.T. mit Extra-Versionen geben. Richtig Energie gibt „High Voltage“ (Gourski & TGM), in „I Want You“ mit Jonathan leben 90s Disco Vibes wieder auf. Und in „No Need for Consensus“ mit Tangerine Dream Mastermind Thorsten Quaeschning kann ein Jungle Mix auch sehr entspannt klingen.

„On the Dancefloor”’s euphoric mood has got a whole new meaning now that dancefloors are crowded and filled again all over the world. This track shows The Green Man’s brilliant ability to hit the sweet spot with unusual crossover tracks. This time he fuses western disco-culture with an african drum solo and a brilliant soulful vocal performance by austrian black female singer Laura. On top of this the Intro delivers James Bond-style cinematic vibes and immediate ear-catching – also praised by Ray Keith in his radio show. This single release also delivers a special “Long Version” with a longer intro.

“On the dancefloor” as an album opener also paves the way for the energetic “25 Years of Basswerk” album. On there TGM also collaborates with many other musicians like Peter Bouncer, Aquasky, Thorsten Quaeschning, Skarra Mucci, David Boomah, Digital, Daddy Freddy, Freeze, Navigator, Jaycut, James Hardway, Gourski, Philo, Kingz, Jonathan Baker, Vavunettha and more.

We’re picking out one more highlight: There is a new acoustic version of the classic “Word, Sound, Power”, featured on the album as Track 20 and coming up as the next single on June 19th. More singles (sometimes with special versions) are come thereafter, including the energetic “High Voltage” with Gourski, “I Want You” with Jonathan Baker and 90s vibes - or “No Need for Consensus” with Tangerine Dream Mastermind Thorsten Quaesching which keeps things more relaxed.
